On September 25, Ukrainian Future, the business incubator of the National Center "MANU", will host UF Creative Garage 2.0 - a practical workshop-battle for schoolchildren and students, dedicated to engineering solutions, 3D modeling and prototyping.

UF Creative Garage is a format already familiar to the UF community, in which in 4 hours you can go through the full cycle of work on a startup solution: from a real case to a physical prototype. In version 2.0, we increase the level of complexity: even more practical work, team interaction and prototyping.

Participants are united in teams in which they will work with a real practical case, explore the possibilities of 3D printing, get acquainted with the collection of modern materials and equipment of the UF Fab Lab prototyping laboratory.

Teams will go through the workshop battle levels one after the other: they will analyze the problem, generate ideas, create a 3D model, make a physical prototype and finally present the finished solution to experts.

In the UF Creative Garage 2.0 program:

• presentation of a practical case;
• familiarization with 3D printing technologies and capabilities;
• work with the UF Fab Lab material library and equipment;
• team generation and development of their own solution;
• creation of a 3D model and its printing;
• manufacture of a physical prototype;
• preparation and presentation of the finished solution.

Experience in 3D modeling is not required - we will teach everything from scratch and provide all the necessary equipment! You can create and print your first physical prototype in a few hours, even if you’ve never done it before.
