Optimizing Supply Chains for Agricultural Machinery Components and Additional Soil Tillage and Plant Care Devices
Intensive machinery use and diversified production cause several problems for farmers, including frequent breakdowns of heavily used parts, the need for component replacement for different tasks, complex order processing, and long waiting times. Consequently, delays during critical agricultural periods result in significant losses. Complex order processing, particularly in remote regions, further increases delays and logistical costs.
Solutions should focus on predicting component replacement needs, streamlining component ordering (including leveraging 3D printing for spare parts), and reducing waiting times and ordering costs. These solutions aim to enable effective and timely component replacement, thereby minimizing losses and increasing agribusiness efficiency.
